Soup Kitchen for Street Children in Moldova is Up and Running

MOLDOVA. Since the collapse of the USSR in 1991, Moldova is facing a continuous economic crisis. And if the capital of Moldova can offer some signs of economic activity, things are in a really bad shape in provincial towns and villages. With thousands of men gone abroad in search of seasonal work and women trafficked for prostitution and slave labor, many children are left on the street.

We at Turlac Mission partner with the leadership of the Baptist Church in Alexandreny, Northern Moldova in providing food for children for whom no one cares. Because of support of Christians from North America, we provide hot lunches for 70-100 children. After the meal, children listen to stories from the Bible, which will give them a strong foundation for life. Please, keep this ministry in your prayers.
