MOLDOVA. During her 2016 mission trip to Moldova (June 4-21, 2016), Natasha Turlac met with Galina and Lisa, Moldova national missionaries that serve the Lord in a Turkish-speaking town of Cioc-Maidan. Both ladies are great leaders in their local community that serve the the local church as well as minister to teenage girls at risk of trafficking.

Cioc-Maidan is one of the places, where we helped start a tailoring school for teen girls to teach them a profession and save them from human trafficking because of a grant received through the Woman's Missionary Union. Galina and Lisa host the young women at the mission station purchased about 10 years ago because of generosity of American Christians.

In 2000's, Lisa was a recipient of the WMU Scholarship that enabled her to attend Christian College in Moldova. We thank God that he continues to provide for the work in Moldova through many friends in North America.
