Baptist Church Under Construction Blown Up in Russia

Baptist church building under construction located on Krasnoarmeiskaya Street in Alexeevka, Belgorod Region in Russia was blown up early in the morning on August 8, 2013. Russian police authorities refused to acknowledge that it was an outside attack upon Baptist believers. In Russia, where the majority of the population claims to be Orthodox, Baptists are often treated as a pro-Western sect.
